BREAST CANCER 3-DAY

My mom and Jamie spent the last three days doing the 60-mile walk for breast cancer.  What an amazing journey they endured and we are so proud of them.  Despite blisters, fatigue and aching muscles, they walked the entire 60 miles in just three days.  They spent two very cold nights in tents and showered in large trucks with all the other women.  Amazing.  I took the kids to watch them walk the final stretch and it was very emotional.  My dad and Jon Jon were there to welcome them home too.  The crowd was amazing and you could see the pride in everyone's eyes as they watched their loved ones finish the walk.

Here's Jordan relaxing before the ceremony started.

Julia was excited to show off her walking skills too.  Not quite ready for the 3-day, but maybe in a couple years.

Julia joined in with the cheering and excitement of the crowd.

Julia and Grandpa.

Jordan got on Jon Jon's shoulders so that he could see the walkers as they passed by.

We are so proud of you Grandma and Jamie.  What amazing women you both are.
