Little Mama

Julia has a couple baby dolls that she loves to push around in a stroller. Sometimes she even tries to fit them all in the stroller at once. (I'm a little afraid she is training to be the next Octo-Mom!) She has learned how to mimic a baby crying so it's fun to watch her play mommy. She'll make her baby cry (waah, waah) and then hold it up to her shoulder and pat her back. Then she'll get a bottle and feed her baby. It's so cute. Even at night when we give Julia her bottle (yes, she still has a bottle before bed) she likes to share her bottle with Snuggles (the little yellow bear that she sleeps with). When her baby doll is especially upset, Julia will bring the babydoll to me to hold and comfort. She is going to be a good little mommy someday. We had such a beautiful weekend that we decided to take the babydoll for a walk. Here are a few pictures of Julia walking her babydoll.

"Here we go!"

"It's okay baby. Don't cry. Mommy will make it better. "

Wrong Restaurant

Josh picked Jordan up from school a couple weeks ago and took him to the car show in Dallas. Jordan decided to spend the night with my parents that night, but didn't have any clothes with him. So Keith and I decided to meet my parents for dinner at Nicki's so that we could bring Jordan an overnight bag. Keith ran into Heather after work and invited them to meet us for dinner too. Unfortunately, we had the restaurants mixed up - my parents and I went to Nicki's, and Keith and the Bailey's went to Nick's. After several phone calls (and harsh words), we got it worked out and enjoyed a nice Italian meal together at Nicki's. Julia and Kade sat in highchairs at the end of the table and had a lot of fun together. Kade is really good in a highchair. If only he could rub off on Julia a little bit. Lately she has been impossible to take out in public. She throws fits and wiggles constantly. She wants to be held, then wants down, then cries because you put her down, so you pick her up, then she wants down, and then she cries because you put her down. . . (shall I go on???) Here are some pictures of Julia and Kade having a ball at Nicki's.
