Missy Higgins

Keith and I went to the House of Blues in Dallas on Saturday to see Missy Higgins. We have been to the HOB before and always bought general admission tickets, which means you have to stand up all night. This time Keith bought us tickets for the balcony - in the front row of a box. The seats were incredible. It is definitely worth the extra money to be able to sit down (yes I know, I'm getting old!). Justin Nozuka opened for Missy. We had never heard of him before, but thought he was absolutely incredible! He has a very passionate and soulful voice and his music has an awesome groove. We enjoyed it. Missy Higgins was phenomenal. She is such a great songwriter and has a lot of energy on stage. If you haven't heard of her, you should check out some of her songs. I'm envious of her songwriting abilities and the raw passion that comes through when she sings. So talented.

I apologize for such blurry pictures. I really need a photography lesson - (Jamie ~ hint, hint)!

It's never easy to get good concert photos... unless your on stage. You aren't doing anything wrong. I never get good stuff. I have learned to just enjoy the concert and leave the camera at home. :)
